Got orders to Ft. Drum! Unit number on my SRB is WD8Z01 which takes me to the combat aviation unit. My organization is a Replacement, does this mean I will be with the combat aviation brigade, and will be put in a specific battalion on arrival? Thanks in advance.

The UIC isn't an actual replacement unit, it's a placeholder that all arriving personnel are assigned to until you inprocess.
A good brigade would designate which unit you will be going to and that unit would assign a sponsor. However you might not get your actual unit until you arrive. Being a low density MOS, your BDE S1 will decide which battalion you go to, or if you will stay at BDE. The best thing you can do is reach out to them early.

That doesn't mean necessarily what you're going to. The Army will place a hold on you. Once you arrive to the replacement unit, they will assign you to whichever unit you are needed at. WD8Z01 is the UIC for the hold. These seems to be an HHC; however, 10th MTN may move you to somewhere else, and update your information with HRC.

That UIC is just taking you to the Replacement Company at Drum to inprocess while you inprocess you will get pinpoint orders to the actual company you will be going to which can be any battalion since you are a 42A.
