What can I expect being assigned to an aviation unit as a 25U?

The most unit-focused work will surround COMSEC and partnering with the AMSOs to ensure there’s good communication for flight and maintenance teams. Also retrieval and custodianship of secure fills in partnership with the S2.
Of course, you’ll also manage the computers and mobile devices of the unit and be asked endlessly for help with printers and frayed cables.
“Can I install Tankwars on my laptop?!”
“No, Carl” (but in this case, Carl is a CW2)
Good luck in your next chapter!

Hmm, that's a good question. I would guess that you would be in charge the the communications of the unit radios, computers, and any other electronics they may have.

absolutely I just don't know how much to expect as far as them allowing hand on in relation to their aircraft comms.

Depends on if the unit's crew chiefs are up to date on their COMSEC handlers courses. If they are then you won't really have a lot to do. If they don't you'll be out at the airfield everytime they fly doing fills.
