Does anyone know how to get in contact with the schools branch?

I have tried emailing, calling, and leaving voicemails for the HRC's schools branch for quite some time now and have found it completely impossible to get a hold of anyone. I know that they are busy and there are a lot of people they have to assist on a daily basis, but is there anyway to at least get through to a real person or even receive a response email? Any and all help is appreciated thank you.

You get scheduled for ALC where you sit on the OML vs seats available. The best way to get an earlier date is to get your promotion points up. But there are still people who have been promotable years before you, so it may be a while till you get your seat

SGT (Join to see) In 2010-2013 when I was the 1CD G3 SGM, there was no "HRC SCHOOLS BRANCH"
There were HRC branch contacts, Drill Sergeant / Recruiter Schools contact, DA directed NCOES schools contact but no all in one "Schools Contact" Now that may have changed, to an all in one, but Im not seeing it.
What school is your question in reference to?

63B does not have its own branch chief, so you fall under
Chief, ALC/Functional

Dont take this the wrong way, as an SM's best advocate is themselves...
But why is a SGT trying to contact ALC schools branch? What is it you want them for? to what end are you trying to contact them?

I'm in the process of trying to go to ALC, because without it I can't go for warrant. I just PCS'd to Drum but right before I left Stewart my prior commander told me to try to get into contact with them. So I'm stumped in the process of this all. That's pretty much the only insight I received.

Are you promotable? Im going to assume not with out ALC.
Looks like you have about 15 months TIG? Id guess that puts you in the bottom third of OML.
That you have a "want" (for warrent packet) is admirable, and if I had an SM that WANTED, was ready, recommended for school, Id find a way....actually I did just that often, it was one of the many things I did for the unit CSM's directly.
Your 1SG is your go to.....and if you should happen to see the BN, BDE, DIV, CORPS CSM and he says "How's it going SGT?" Take the opportunity to peak their interest..."Great CSM, ready and looking forward to submitting my warrent pack, as soon as I can get into ALC"
CSM's (and G3 SGM's) at all levels take a beating when they have SM on the OML, but they are not going, or SM's are sent, but fail for APFT, HTWT, academics, or other...so a chance to fill a required slot with a SGT that is highly motivated to attend and succeed makes for a good morning...... I worked those cases weekly...

If it goes how it did when I contacted mine.. here is the response. "You'll get an ATRRS reservation when you get scheduled."

Correct that’s what happens when you call, that’s what happens when your first sergeant calls, but there are ways and people that can affect alternate results
They just have to want to put in the effort that one is based on a request from somebody they know and respect

SGM Erik Marquez you are absolutely right. Although I didnt get a response until two days after I had my reservation email. Knew I was high on the OML just wasnt sure how high I was.
