Leadership thought for the day!

You would think this wouldn't have to be said but I had to today.... Please teach, coach and mentor your subordinates. Continue to show them what a leader should know and do. Ensure they understand that the Army promotes off of potential... Just because you were selected for promotion doesn't mean you earned it, and once you pin on your new rank you need to continue to earn that rank. You may not get through to everyone but continue being a steward to the profession!!!
