Can a Commander dictate which days of the week a soldier can schedule medical appointments?

I got a soldier who goes to Behavioral Health twice a week as requested by the provider. The provider is only in Monday Wednesday and Friday. Can't make appointments on Mondays in this unit because pmcs. Is the command allowed to say that the soldier cannot go to any Friday appointments? This soldier is just following provider orders and is not using BH as an excuse whatsoever. Just looking for a reg or other reading material if anyone would know?

This is one of those situations where you tell the provider and let them work it out with the command team. If your command refuses to work with the provider, they will contact the Brigade command team, or Brigade Surgeon who will speak to your command team and let them see the error of their ways.

Figured that would be the case. Just was wondering if we could do anything as Joe's. Thanks SFC Boyd

If this was for a tooth ache I would understand a little better but BH is not a game to mess with. the mental readiness of a Soldier is extremely important and when being told otherwise you are putting that Soldier at risk.
