Yep. Prior enlisted Army here. I got O1-E pay when I commissioned in the Air Force Reserves and then O2-E and O3-E pay as active duty Navy. It goes away at O4, but by then you're likely maxed out on the pay scale anyway.

CPT Lawrence Cable - Actually... as a Navy Chaplain I've served with the Marines for 3 years. I spent a year with 1st Battalion 3d Marines (Infantry) and 2 years with 1st Battalion 12th Marines (Artillery). And my next assignment will be with the Coast Guard. So I will have been assigned to units and worn the uniforms of all 5 branches.
