How should I do an interstate transfer as a 68W to become a flight medic?

Hey everyone,
I am a national guard 68W. (Not currently a flight medic, however I am NREMT-P certified).
Recently got in contact with a recruiting NCO and received an offer to IST from my current unit in one state to another state. I wanted to go flight medic and was told I could do so.
Last week I got a letter of acceptance into the unit that I need to push through the chain of command at my current unit. However on the letter of acceptance it has the other unit's information and MOS listed as 68W1O.
I was told by the recruiter that I would transfer to the unit, and once I was on their UMR I would be sent to the flight medic school.
Just wondering if this is the case and if the MOS listed on the acceptance letter should say 68WF2 since I was told I am getting a flight medic spot? Just want to make sure since I know a lot of things aren't true unless they are in writing. Is there any way I can assure my slot is a flight medic slot or do I trust the word of the recruiter, etc.?
I like my current unit, however really want to become flight medic and am not trying to get screwed over.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Contact the unit that you’ll be moving to and get the unit’s designation, your paragraph and line number, and the name of the IST coordinator on that end. Then start your packet on your current unit’s end.
You’ll need to clear supply and everything else to get your packet pushed forward.
Which states are you dealing with if you don’t mind me asking. I’ve got the info for MA, AL, and UT. lol

Since you are not a Flight Medic yet, showing on their UMR as a 68W1O is correct as that is your current MOS with skill level. Once you are done with the flight medic training, then you should have your MOS switched on their UMR. Once you get promoted to Sergeant, then the 1 will switch to a 2.
