Whether using your mp3 player or splicing a CD player into the commo of your vehicle, what bands/artists/songs/genres really get you amped up for combat?

On board our submarine, we had a system built in to the ship made by the Sundstrand company. We all had our own headphone jack, etc. The goal was that if you were plugged in to the ship system, if there was an alarm, it would interrupt your music. That way, you wouldn't miss an emergency by having your headphones plugged in. There were ten "channels" on the "box" and one would be all country, one all classical, etc. The tapes were sent by fleet command somewhere. On my first patrol, every single station had ZZ Top. So now everytime I hear or see them, I think of being at sea...

Apocalypse Now - Ride of the Valkyries (1080p)
Apocalypse Now - Ride of the Valkyries Ronald Lee Ermey as Helicopter Driver :)
Best music for flying into battle I've seen and heard was "Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner, used in the air assault attack in the movie Apocalypse Now.

PO2 Joan MacNeill
I thought of that too, but what actually seems perfect is Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio for Strings (controversial origin; one of his apprentices may have actually written it). It's dreamy, flowing, soulful, beautiful. Perect accompaniment for bloody mayhem.
