Not sure if it’s 21E or 62E but I know the title is correct.

I went in as a 62e in 78 and was sent to fort Lenard Wood, MO did basic and AIT. Then I went to fort Stewart, GA for a couple years and the to Hanau, Germany till I rolled a D-7 Cat down a hill a broke my back. Ended my military career but they made me 100% disabled at 25 years old. Good luck, I really wanted to retire but it wasn't in the cards.

62e are heavy equipment, or were when I was in. I was assigned to both heavy, and light engineer battalions during my service. Was even assigned to the 9th ID for a time. We were supposed to dig tank defolades for them, but I think the higher ups figured out a 13 mph couldn’t keep up with a 60+mph tank, lol. Over all, there are limitless assignments for an equipment operator, and the skill definitely transfers to civilian life.

Anywhere. great job once you get out. I was a engineer repair parts specialist when I first went into the army. I can drive a rough terrain fork lift with a M16 on my side. Still can do it. I am fit
