Is it possible to go to ALC while stationed in Kuwait?

It’s possible. Depends on the unit and how long he will gone for. Most Kuwait tours are only 1 yr so the unit might not support a TDY to school for more than 1-2 months. It also depends on what he does and how his absence affects the mission. But it doesn’t hurt to ask the Chain of Command. Worst they can do is say No.
