The longest I've been was 55 straight days. Long enough time for the entire crew to crack open a beer. Relived my college days with a Rolling Rock!

Honestly, I can't remember exactly how long we were at sea, but on the USS Carl Vinson, it was around late August or early September to late December 2001. We were supposed to have 3 beer days, but one was cancelled because we were too busy bombing Afghanistan. It pretty much sucked. ;-)
