I have been told that my hearing is bad enough to warrant me a level 3 profile and a 3 on hearing for my PULHES. I have undergone the MAR2 process and HRC let me retain my MOS of 68K. However, I am unhappy with this job and have wanted to reclass for a while now. Unfortunately, the only to MOS’s that the Army allows a level 3 profile for are 42A and 36B, neither of which I am interested in. My question is, is there any way for this to be re-evaluates in order to become eligible to reclass again?

You're going to have to visit your friendly neighborhood Audiologist and get your hearing re-checked. If the test shows your hearing warrants a 2 on your profile, then there ya go. If it shows you hearing warrants a 3....well, thems the breaks.

Just how bad is your hearing? Can it be corrected by hearing aides? Or is that even allowed in the military nowadays? I can tell you from experience people can wear ear muffs (the kind you go shooting with) over a 24 hour period and sensitize their hearing enough to pass a hearing test. Now, if you're hearing is really, really bad, this may not work for you. There is a "hearing test app that is exactly like the one they give you. The one with the beeps, highs and lows. Use it with some ear buds. Take it as is, then do like I said and wear the ear muffs and see if you get improvement.
