I'm a prior enlisted officer that is trying to get their ORB squared away. I've been trying to get this squared away for a while now, but I think I've been given bad information. The two sections of the ORB that I'm most concerned with are military education and assignment history sections (I think everything else is GTG). I was looking through AR 600-8-104 but I'm still a little hazy. As long as I have a 1059 can military schools completed while enlisted go on my ORB? Do enlisted assignments go on my ORB? I've previously been told to speak to our S1 but I've spoken to 3 people and received 3 different answers. One person said the enlisted training should be listed, one said only if the training pertains to my current job, and one says it can't be listed. I'm about to change units and I'm hoping to get everything squared away when I arrive, but I'd like to have a reference in hand for support. TYIA!

All of my awards were put on my ORB so it would match my DA Photo. All deployments were transferred as well so they would match my awards. If I remember correctly there is only so much room for schools. So I listed the ones that were most applicable and left the others off. Just remember that all your stuff will still be seen on your OMPF.

There’s not a ton of room for schools, but right now all I have is BOLC. I should have a couple more by the end of the month. There are a couple of schools from my enlisted days that I think are still relevant and I’d like to get them added. I imagine as I progress they’ll get “bumped off”, however.

That they will. However, for example I did not list BNCOC or PLDC. I also left off my MP ASI schools. Realistically you can put what you want as long as the reg has it listed as a school. IMHO I only put schools that were relevant as an officer. For example i left the safety officer course on there since it was a 40 hr course. CPT (Join to see)

I also left off all of my enlisted assignments as they were no longer applicable.
