Everything from deliver food, fill sand bags, riot control to fighting forest fires.
If you see a video of troops after a disaster, chances are they are National Guard.

SPC (Join to see) Duties will change during state emergency duty. You will be focusing on keeping the community safe: sandbags, recovery, delivery of goods, rescue, etc. Everyone "loses" their MOS/AFSC in order to make sure the community is safe/secure.
