If an SM is chaptered on their second contract with a general under honorable conditions and has four years of honorable service. Will they?

You would need to call the regional VBA office to ask them. From what I know about claims for compensation and pension as long as there was one good period of service then anything available to the veteran was provided based on that period of service and the other than honorable or dishonorable discharge period of service was not looked at for anything.

Like I said I am not sure if this works for all VBA benefits or not. You would need to call someone at the regional office for the VBA in your area and they could tell you for sure.

Interesting question. I know they keep most of their VA benefits so I would think the GI bill would be intact.
