can you still get an extension bonus if you are less than 90 days from ETS 2019 in the army national guard? My team leader said yes. But the army national guard website says no? Any subject matter experts know? Thank you

$20,000 lump sum for 6 year extension? What’s the catch? A lump sum sounds too good to be true

Under the FY19 SRIP policy you can extend up until your ETS and receive a 20,000 dollar bonus for 6yr and the Student loan repayment program or 4000 for 3yrs.

Yes you can, you have to have less than 13 years TIS. Ask your retention NCO for the current SRIP. Or talk to someone from the RRB.
