I'm considering reclassing to 15T (Blackhawk mechanic). I would also have to reenlist for this MOS. Is it an MOS worth stepping into?

Hands down yes! I just crossed 20 years in the MOS. Been a 15T since day one of my career. Like some of the others have said hours can be long at times, different variations in the job between flight and maintenance. Medevac, VIP(worst gig), assault, 160th, etc. Great knowledge set for civilian transition. Just do your time in Dco maintenance to learn the job and you’ll be set.

Absolutely. There are plenty of different routes to track in this MOS. Make sure you are checking the in/out calls for this MOS with your career counselor. If you need more information on the MOS feel free to PM me.
