I have submitted my new warrant packet for 153A to HRC, today. I received the confirmation email. In the email, it states to contact a regional warrant officer recruiter no earlier than 7 days after submission. Is there any way to check on my packet status such as on a website, or is email the only way? Also, how do you know when the packet is board ready?

My husband just did 150A
He submitted the packet in may and the next couple days he got emailed back what his corrections were, he fixed them right away and the board was this week. We’re waiting on results now.

I don't know if the process is different for Reservists/NG, but when I submitted my packet a SSG recruiter out of Knox kept in touch with me about the status of my packet as they check it for errors and completeness. After that it goes to specialty boards, proponent and one other before becoming board ready. I emailed them every couple weeks for a status update (they usually encourage you to do so). It can take longer if you have any waivers. Otherwise they will let you know when it is board ready.

There is a list of regional poc’s on the website to email for packet status. I got an email back the day after submission for a minor correction and then I waited two weeks before I emailed to check on it. My reply was that my packet was with HRC awaiting review. Two weeks later I repeated the process and was told my packet was board ready. It takes a lot of patience but as long as corrections are submitted before the deadline and you find out your packet is board ready before the board convenes you will be fine.
