Does anyone know how long it takes to get your service treatment records?

I sent a request in for my service treatment records a few days ago. Just wondering if anyone has requested theirs recently and how long it took to come in.

Depends on a couple factors, but if your records are properly archived in the central records repository in St Louis, 45 days or so.
Longer if you were a Guard guy and your records are in their state version.
If you are really unlucky, your records may be still at your unit, where getting them can be difficult indeed.
