With the move of AFMIS to a cloud platform only accessable through millitary computers, will National Guard leadership render proper support and resources to Food Service NCOs? My money is on a resounding "NO". Previous to the poorly thought out move to the cloud, units, battalions, brigades, divisions, and states collectively dragged there feet to ensure effective training and access to this mandatory program. Previously, myself and other Food Service NCOs had to either supply our own computers or rely on infamously disfunctional kiosk computers. So, now it's only the slow, outdated, low-functioning, kiosk computers.

It is stupid to move any resource that a Soldier needs away from being accessible, SFC (Join to see). Did you know that you can't access legal assistance from an outside network? If you're AD, this is easy. Just go to legal, or wait until you're back in the office. However, as a Reservist, or National Guardsman, this becomes a disaster. So, I'm going with not so good of an idea.
