I've been looking into two colleges "American Military University" along with "Maryland University", I'm hoping when I meet all the requirements and attain my associates degree I'll be able to apply for [Green to Gold]. Small road block, I've been searching the Internet but I don't know if AMU has an ROTC program. Would I still be able to commission through AMU and will my credits transfer over or should I just attend Maryland?

Contact the colleges you want to attend. Don't ask the people here, we don't work at admissions for the colleges you named.

I will piggyback on here if I may...many schools that do not have their own ROTC program will have an agreement with a school close by that you can attend one school and do ROTC with the other. Like SFC Boyd stated, you need to contact the schools.

AMU is an online only school, they are acredited but have had academic intergity issues in the past. Lots of tests at multiple choice and are on quizlet. Just got to UMD they are a tier one college and will set you up should you go for advanced degrees later.

Thanks specialist I'll probably end up doing that. The career counselor had recommended UMD I should have listened.

PV2 (Join to see) UMUC, UMBC, or UMD. They are three different schools. UMUC is primarily online and for military. UMBC Is in Baltimore. And UMD is the flagship in college park. College Park is the school I was talking about... I’m from MD that’s why I asked.

PV2 (Join to see) G2G requires that you are accepted to both the school of choice and the ROTC BN. Agreed with SFC (Join to see).
