Most of my discussions are not going far, so lets try something that has stronger beliefs behind it...looking for some serious observations on the moves towards pushing amnesty and lack thereof in pushing veteran employment. With Iraq done and Afghanistan apparently winding down, where are the calls for veteran employment in congress and senate? Are we being railroaded and only usable for war?

Boom, you hit the nail on the head, and I will leave it at that, if I try and go into too much I may get hit by the comment patrol.

Good luck and stay safe.

It is really hard to get one's head around the significance of homeland security,   yet it is also hard to know what HS does because most of it is secret.   Like the right to know and need to know and lives that being saved rather than some discouraging news of mass deaths that may have been preventable.

...lets say its been an "interesting journey" working on my Bachelors in this area...I have a rep as not always toeing the line on stances and challenging some of the professors. However I hold a 4.0 GPA. If your argument is backed with viable facts, it no longer lists as an opinion and is substantial. Such things as undeclared fusion centers and the like are questionable. I had a professor last semester talking about "trending" terrorist movements in IT. I argued that with the number of fragmented groups (not all terrorists are Al Qaeda), trying to prove "trending" holds little water. Some terrorist cells, to include domestic cells, are no more than three to five people...you can NEVER track or TREND that type of an enemy...its not structured like a foreign government or military is

Thanks SGT Louis M. -  Here are the minutia that perceptive people relate to.   In my field detail matters most.   Prove and then try to disprove what you think you know.   Add a different perspective and you have a code that has an answer.

Louis,

I just completed my BA in HS, and am getting ready to go full force in to the MA program as well.

It was an interesting program to go through, I learned a lot of things that I didn't know and re-emphasized many things I did know from working in the LE arena for almost 3 decades and the AT certifications I obtained in service.

I wish you luck with the program.
