I am headed to WOCS in October and slated to graduate the end of November. I have received a WOBC date for the first week on Jan and will be 6 weeks. I am currently OCONUS and curious as to what the PCS situation will be. It would be much smoother to move my family to my forward duty station when I get back as schools will be on Christmas break instead of the end of February when I get back from WOBC. To add I will be a tech WO, not aviation. Anyone have any insight? I haven't gotten a straight answer from my S1. Also, any idea of when I will get my RFO for my next duty station after WOBC?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You should have received a RFO by now if you’re headed to WOCS in October. I PCSd my family from Hawaii so I could go to WOCS and they stayed stateside with family until I graduated then they followed me to my WOBC which was a PCS move since it was six months long. I didn’t receive my RFO for my first assignment until the start of WOBC. Each branch is different so I would tell you to talk to your WO branch manager and they should be able to answer all your questions.

Thank you. My WOBC will not be considered a PCS move, so I am hoping I can move my family from Japan immediately after graduating WOCS. I would have thought I would have received my RFO being I am coming from OCONUS and the preparation that takes, but I have heard nothing since Nov. '18 when I picked up I'll start making some phone calls, but I didn't want to jump the gun to soon.
