How hard is it to PCS to Fort Sam Houston as an 88M?

I heard Sam Houston is the medics but I was wondering if having it as a duty station is possible? I like the idea of Texas but don’t want Bliss and people tell me to stay away from Hood. I’d appreciate any help!

I’m currently stationed at Fort Hood assigned to 13th ESC. It’s not that bad. We are tasked a lot and busy, but otherwise nothing to complain about the post.

I am going to assume that being stationed at Ft Sam as an 88M will be difficult considering the nature of the post.

When I was stationed there they had a unit with 88M. That was back when the "Third Herd, Brave Rifles" was there though.
