I been asking different people and I am getting different answers varying the length of time it takes to update. Some say 2-4 days, Some say a week and, I've heard of a cases that took up to a month. Does anyone knows is something is being done to fix this?

I can answer this one.
The military has different databases, many, many different databases. DTMS is one database and its used to track training. Emilpo is the database that creates your SRB. Certain databases are the source for specific information. So, while emilpo shows your weapons Qual, APFT, ETS, BASD, and projected assignment - that information is input in RETAIN, EDAS, DJMS and DTMS. When you input or change information into one database it can't automatically update all the other databases at once or it would cause errors. So, at the end of the night database A will update database B. The next night database B will update database C. The next night database C will update database A and the loop is closed. How long it takes something to update depends on where the source database is in this loop and where you're pulling the data from.
This is an overly simplified version of the actual process and any HR guru will tell you it's much more complicated than that.

Simple answer to this question. Your training or orderly room soldier sucks. As soon as he/she inputs it into the system is takes less than a day to show on your SRB.

couple of years ago I checked my SRB. They had my MRD listed as December 1998. They also had me listed as a black female. How bad do you have to suck at your job to jack up an SRB like that? Took me over a month to get it fixed.

I have the same problem now. My weapon qualification record was updated in DTMS a week ago. Everyone else has their update shown on ERB except me. I’m about to lose my P status in a month.
