In 19 83 I received an Article 15 while in basic training. Has anyone got an Article 15 in basic training and graduated ? Other then me?

An AR15 is punishment in itself, not automatic separation. Many people have received UCMJ and went in to stellar service. Thank you for your service.

Jesus, in 1983, I doubt that you were the only one in your company that had an Article 15. They use to hand them out like candy. An unnamed CSM and I came within a hair of both getting one in OSUT. We were of course innocent ;^).

What type of Article 15? And the answer is yes, otherwise there would not be regulations covering such. Recruits from all branches have gotten NJP's while in BCT.
