Should or could we Remove all tax exempt status from all Churches and for profit corporations?

Simple answer, no.

I think there are certain churches that definitely should not receive tax exempt status but churches like ones I’ve worked with for my ministry mission and the ones I grew up with perform a lot of assistance to those in need that probably saves some future government welfare money. Don’t ask me though how to design policy to discriminate ones from the other. As for profit corporations or entities that specialize in services that do not necessarily have the consensus approval of the public, I don’t see why these receive tax exempt or any kind of monetary support from the government. Create a well run and competitive entity that can compete in the marketplace and you should not need these perks anyway.
