Just Got Back From Air Assault. It’s easy really. PT is simple if you’re in good shape. Just stay with the count. We started with 240+ and finished with 94. The biggest things that got our people: 2 mile run and obstacle course, “10” Layout, Sling Load Hands On, and 12 mile Ruck. Sling load got the most (cut our class from 184 to 100). Pay attention, get a good sequence, and do as you’re told. You’ll do fine.

Run. Learn to run, love to run. Get in the habit of running wherever you go, do not walk. PT yourself to death. If you think you are in good shape? You are not in the shape you need to be in, and push yourself harder.
Learn to function on little sleep.
PAY ATTENTION and take notes if you can. I will say it again... PAY ATTENTION. You will be tested on everything. Learn to check and double check everything. Pack only what they tell you, HOW they tell you.
