As a civilian, I find it amazing to see the neocons have picked up exactly where they left off with the Bush administration. Are there hundreds of thousands of amped soldiers looking forward to another war in the middle east?

Is this really a concern on your part to whine about neocons, or do you really care what happens outside this country? Seems to me this is all about your desire to score cheap political jabs through the use of false labels.

Jason K. then why the association to neocons? Sorry but it seems to me that your true motivation is to label and characterize any threat from Iran as just another ill conceived need to mitigate a threat.

This is a loaded question. A service member should never comment on a question like this. We don't decide policy.

As a PAO, I really appreciate your answer, CPT (Join to see) . If PAOs could only get your outlook to sink into the rest of the serving force, our jobs would be a little bit easier.

As a veteran, I find it amazing that you have no appreciation for the fact that you are not required to speak German, Arabic, Russian, or Farsi right now.
Generally, soldiers are just geared up to protect America.
I am not sure if you remember what happened on 9-11, but I do. I had been out of the Army for 11 years at the time. I could not sleep for days, finally, I called a recruiter and went back in.
It wasn't about going to war, it was about keeping the fight off American shores so no more innocent CIVILIANS had to die.
In the meantime, I had to learn German, Arabic, Pashtun, and Farsi.
You're welcome.

None of this makes sense and is completely off. You are assuming quite a bit here. But thanks for learning the languages on my behalf? I'm not here to argue. I was just asking a question. Apparently it was too complicated to not trigger some people.

Jason K. Actually, you started off belittling neocons and the Bush administration. You can go ahead and tell me what you meant now. But I know what you meant.
