I've been hearing varying information that the transition to DLC is using SSD/DLC as a replacement for the DL (phase 1) of ALC. I already have SSD 2 completed. I've been researching and haven't found anything really tangible in a regulation. I've only had verbal information stating DLC 2 counting, but nothing on SSD 2. I have highers saying phase 1 won't be necessary and am hoping to have eyes on the regulation that states it. Thanks in advance!

It's not in any regulation. Regulations take years to update and get approved. You'll find things like that in ALARACT, MILPER, and Army Directive messages.
SSD replaced common core phase 1 years ago.

This is one of the medical ALC's thats broken up into 2 or 3 phases correct? ALC phase 1 to the majority of us was ALC Common Core, which was replaced by SSD 2 in 2014.

Yes, that’s correct. The medical ALC has three phases, phase 1 is an online format portion, phase 2 is the general NCO leadership portion, and phase 3 is MOS specific.
Now with the transition to DLC from SSD, I’m wondering if it’ll be similar to the transition from Common Core to SSD and act as a replacement for phase 1 of ALC; however, I haven’t found any written guidance stating this, only verbal.

DLC replaces SSD which is a requirement to attend a EPME it does not count as phase 1 for ALC
