I just wanted to say thank you to all current and former service members for your service and self sacrifice. I'm new to RallyPoint and new to the Army as well but after every encounter I have with a SM on this site I become prouder and prouder to wear the uniform. The NCOs on here consistently demonstrate professionalism and the WOs and Os have incredible insight and are always ready to help. Thank you for your commitment to America and enjoy all that life throws at you.

Welcome to the wonderful, informative, frustrating and rewarding world of Rally Point. This is by far the best social media site for military personnel. <div>Rule 1. Always maintain your military bearing. </div><div>Rule 2. Always maintain your sense of humor, respectfully. </div><div>If you don't laugh at our jokes we'll destroy you. (that was a joke) </div><div>:) </div>

Don't ever try to school me on any movie about dudes with their shirts off. I know them all.

In order to thrive, the RP community must consist of subject matter experts in a variety of topics. The movies I referenced above just so happens to be one of the topics I specialize in lol.

Yes, I am addicted to RP as well. This is by far one of the best military communities online I have such a privilege of becoming a member. It is very interactive and I enjoy communicating with other service members from different branches.
I have to discipline myself because I've been focusing on RP rather than my daily duties and list of things to do. Balance, it's all about balance.

I've come to realize the only balance I will get is if I cut off my hand. I'm just worried I will learn to type with my nose and I really need my nose.

I know exactly what you mean. I am supposed to be studying right now but keep glancing at my e-mail to see if anything interesting is going on here. That's the problem. There always is!

I don't know how you guys get addicted. I spend at least 4 hours a day on here and I'm not hooked yet.
