In addition to the horrific displays of brutality by ISIS now they are turning to selling/torturing children, when will we as humans step up and stop these monsters? I don’t thing the world powers are doing enough. What are your thoughts?

Someone made a comment on Yahoo today, and I think it is probably the most profound and accurate statement I have heard yet regarding ISIS.

Paraphrasing of course.

As long as the West is leading the charge, ISIS will scatter like cockroaches after each attack. They will have a constant flow of recruits to draw from. However, if the charge is led from the Middle East, by people like King A. from Jordan, then the recruiting prospects will dry up. ISIS will die on the vine.

The "world" cannot stop ISIS. ISIS must be stopped by the region itself. The world can help. But this is a sickness, like alcoholism. You can't force someone to get better. They have to want to get better. Only then, can you help them.

King A. of Jordan is the first. The best in my opinion. I think he is going force others into the light. And they are going to squash these roaches. They are going to burn this disease. And they are going to ask for help. And we are going to give it to them.

It will be a while. ISIS is trying to bait the US into a full-scale conflict, which would only lend it legitimacy.

And Boko Haraam, numerically and geographically as threatening... I invite 1LT L S to this conversation.
