Did you enjoy the experience being the Company Commander and did it set you back in your military career when you went back to a BSB or CSSB?

I am not a transportation officer, but for Engineers and Combat Arms officers, Company Command is usually one of the highlights in your career as an officer. It's you first real opportunity to be in charge, it's what all the stuff that you have done until now is just train up for this position. Yes, it can be demanding, occasionally aggravating, and almost always a challenge, but it's what we trained to accomplish. When they look for BN Commanders, they will look at the Company Command time as a reference. Go for it and enough.
