We all know about the controversial topic of Military instructors and the new badges. We all know what the regulations say and we all know what is really going on currently with them. What is your take on this issue?

My guess is that some instructors who have had certain experiences (e.g. deployments, special schools like Ranger/Sapper, etc.) would culturally be considered more important while they are teaching, or more important in the eyes of their students. This ties a lot to Army culture IMO. I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing, just stating my 2 cents on the issue...

I know the AF considers MTIs more prestigious then PME or Technical instructors.

You need to treat all of you soldiers with the same respect, and they will show you the same, if not have them beat their face
