I just picked it up yesterday and the info in it is phenomenal. However, Korea is my first duty station snd idk how practical the info in it is. What other texts yould you recommend to the average 68w?

Anything with the Ranger name on it is the best available. I used and carried the Ranger Handbook when I was in a mechanized infantry unit. It covered everything except armored vehicle. I was told by my 1SG that the Ranger Handbook was the Soldier's Bible when I was a PFC. He also told me to take correspondence courses which I did and maxed out military education on every promotion board up to E-6. I'd love to see a Ranger Medic handbook!

Definitely worth a read. I would also consider looking at either the paramedic route or expeditionary medic course as well. Either will make you very highly sought after skills wise.

Its a phenomenal resource tool. You can also find the flight medic protocols online. Personally I have an old iPad that has the medical ARs,TMs, etc on it.
