How long will the process take, from selection to commission, in the AMEDD direct commissioning program?

If the board is in AUG, how long will take to commission once the board is done after been selected? Also, when actually you have to get released from the actual duty status, before the board or after been selected?

If you are active duty, you will sign a letter of intent. Once you receive a BOLC date, you will take the Oath of Office at BOLC, which will make your Commission effective. After the board results are released it can take 90 days to six months before you get a BOLC date. Patience is key, request updates but remember that there is a process.

Sir, I am AGR, where exactly will be the release time. My worries is about having a job waiting on the other part.

I am on the same situation, I got selected on feb 15th and waiting since then. Its been 3 months. My recruiter had told me by aug or sept i should get scroll date. However, does the army APFT test happens before i go for BOLC or during BOLC training? I have been working out inconsistently due to my work schedule and trying to get CCRN before i go. need couple of months more workout before i can say i am ready for APFT test.

Usually after the Board about 4-5 days until they post the results and than you have to wait on the scroll to come back so that you can take the oath of office
