I am active duty Navy and have just started the process of applying for WOFT. I am hitting some road blocks with the conditional release. Are there any other active duty Navy out there going through, or recently gone through the process?

Good afternoon Sir,
In regards to the AFS waivers what does the board judge AFS waivers on for approval of denial Sir.

The board has nothing to do with the waiver process. HQDA is the proponent for approval or disapproval of waivers. I don't know for sure if the board even sees the waiver. I will ask and find out for you though. CW5 Sam R. Baker do you know the answer to this question?

CW4 (Join to see) - The board DOES NOT see the waivers, they only see the packet.

Additionally, recently AFS just got reduced from 12 years to 8 years, there still is a waiver and now proponency will just see MORE of them.
