Is it possible to drop a Recruiter Packet to become a recruiter in the middle of a duty station assignment?

I’m curious if I’m able to request to become a recruiter with one year into my duty station assignment.

Shouldn’t be an issue. I submitted my volunteer packet before a year at my current unit and got accepted 2-3 weeks later.

No problem. If you get accepted your branch will have to release you which took me a few days before I got another email stating so and received a school date for ARC. SSG (Join to see)

It is possible, but HRC filled its shortage in January and you aren't likely to be waived down to a year on station like they were doing back in December.

SSG (Join to see) you'll save yourself a lot of time and work if you just call your branch manager and ask them how long they'll require you to be on station before releasing you.

SSG (Join to see) actually I just got off the phone with a different branch manager. The branch managers don't have any recruiting mission right now so there's no DA Select, but if you drop a recruit the recruiter packet they'll release you at one year on station.
