Since I have 6 months between DEROS and ETS in Korea, will I be able to PCS to CONUS and then ETS?

I am stationed in Korea.
My DEROS is 08 Sep 2019 and my ETS is 10 Mar 2020.
I am NOT command sponsored and was told I only need 6 months between my Report Date and my ETS date.
I would like to take 2 weeks of leave to move my wife to whatever base we end up at.
I do not have my RFO yet.
Any help on the topic is greatly appreciated.

That is correct, you need 6 months from your report date. Your report date will be the month after your DEROS, or the following month. You'll have to extend your ETS date in order to meet the 6 months SRR. You should actually be on assignment right now. Since you're on an unaccompanied tour you should have your HAAP already and know your follow on assignment.

SFC, would you be able to share the guidance that states six months minimum for SRR going from OCONUS(Korea) to CONUS(Jackson) I am in a similar situation and was told prior to my PCS to Korea that I would only need the six months to PCS back and ETS from Jackson with the HAAP. Thank you in advance!

As an enlisted Soldier, you will not receive a RFO, you will receive Assignment Instructions (AI). If you are not on assignment yet it may be because of your ETS date. You should probably call talk and talk your branch manager, this may allow you to have some input in your assignment location. Also get with retention so you can extend to meet the time requirement. If you don’t extend, you will not receive AI, you will ETS from there (Korea). Good luck to you....
