So, I'm going into the national guards RSP program, pending OCS in January. Is it possible to switch over to active duty before ocs in January? Can the active duty send me to OCS.
I would have went active in the first place but I'm not married. I would be married if I pursue active duty!

Go to OCS in the guard and your bolc. Then apply for the Call To Active Duty (CAD) program.

I've never heard of that program. Thanks, I'm going to look into it.
I was told if I start OCS with the guard, the chances of them releasing me is slim to none. Is that not true?

SGT (Join to see) not true. Most states wont give you any shit for going active. If you're trying to get out just because you're not liking it, they wont release you. However, every state is different.
