What’s a good duty station for a MP who loves the LE side?

I get that we as MP’s have a duty in the tactical environment, but the LE side is what I joined for.

15 years ago I'd recommend Ft Campbell. Though a few times things would end with units working together to flip the MPs car and then the BDE v BDE fight continue.

I would think that Ft Benning would keep the Law Enforcement side busy with the Armor AND Infantry OSUT, Infantry Office Basic and Advanced, OCS, Airborne, Ranger School, Ranger Battalion, and School of the America's ( I think it still exists). That's enough testosterone in one location for anyone interested in an active Law Enforcement Career.

Any TRADOC installation...ie: JBLE (Fort Eustis), Fort Jackson, Fort Gordon, etc. any installation that has a DIV HQs with BCTs...you’ll rotate from LE to tactical (field) duty.

There are many CONUS Detachments for L&O. Obviously, to increase chances of working more L&O, the V5 or Q9 ASI will help. Basically, look at all TRADOC posts, Fort Meade, Fort Belvoir, etc. Depending on the duty station, most MP BNs have a DET who is devoted to filling PMO/DES positions. If you are 29 months on station, I’d give Branch a shout. If you’re looking to make 31B a career, ensure to shoot for more than just L&O assignments.
