What are Some Ways that RallyPoint Can Help You as Far as Expanding Career Services?

Some personnel have verbalized their need for assistance with job hunting and other career services and I'd like your input on how we might be able to further expand RallyPoint to help assist in this area. This site is fairly new and, who knows, our RP Founders might take your feedback for future consideration.
As for myself, people looking for help in this area as well as in other areas of interest can often find it just by talking to people. I have a network in my local area and am always willing to help our military and veterans with whatever they need.

PO3 Richards,
Great question!
I like the fact RP has added the Resume up load and down load. Maybe they should add a job finder tab allowing Veterans to put themselves out there. Proving their locations for job hunting.
Food for thought.

1SG Haro - Great input and glad you like the resume upload/download feature. This is really useful for when a civilian employer is looking for someone with your specific background. The more experience your profile displays, the more likely you are to be seen by civilian companies.
When you go on the civilian employment page to search jobs, the information that is selected: availability date, job location, industry, and job function is saved to your profile. This is your way of putting your desired search criteria out there.
Those companies on the job posting page have contacted me personally and have requested face time with members like you. You will see a lot of activity on that page in the next few months. We are seeing a storm of requests from companies with veteran hiring initiatives like Marilyn's (PHP). Great company by the way and she's a huge advocate of veteran hiring.
I've sent you a connection request. Let's chat some more about how I can make this page as useful as possible for you.

1SG Haro, Capt Charters,
Many thanks for your input. I am eager to help get information out there to help our fellow brethren. I know how hard it was for me to transition and adjust and I just want to help others transition in the best way possible. Knowledge is power - the more you know, the better off you will be.
