SSG Mackley, check with your BN S1 to see if you have CAPed yet.  Sometimes a Soldier is placed on assignment instructions, but it doesn't hit your ERB for a bit.  Your S1 should be able to see if you are on A/I.  If you are not, then I would go see your 1SG.  Sometimes, 1SGs and CSMs have a better track record of getting in touch with PDNCOs.  Good luck.

Roger SSG Mackley...CAP means Critical Acquisition Position.  In layman's terms, it means that you have been placed on A/I but it hasn't hit "the system" yet.

One of the things I always do when I cannot get through to my Branch Manager is call one of the other branch managers. They all work in the same area and are more than glad to patch you through, this also will tell you if they are in the office or out TDY without wondering if they are.

As a Quartermaster Soldier your branch will rarely answer an email. Be it from a Career Counselor, 1SG or even a CSM. Good luck. QM Corps is ruthless and you unfortunately are just a number to them.
