Education, experience, training- never too old for it

Just some advice. Yes... advice is cheap and everybody has something to say. Education- schoolhouse or on-the-job learned/earned never ends no matter how smart or connected you are. In order to adapt to the ever-changing jobs horizon, I can't emphasize this enough to myself. Skill sets need to be constantly challenged and updated. If you can get someone to pay the bill, if there is one that needs to be paid for the upgrade in schoolhouse learning, great! More often than not, the funding comes from your own pocket. I read that successful people willingly invest in themselves knowing that there is going to be a pay-off. When one's earning years get lesser, one needs to be a hustler. A hustle is not a bad thing. Hustlers as we know them are constantly working angles. In a good light, be a hustler. Work those angles to place yourself in a position that is going to make money for you and/or place you on a course that is not going to tap out anytime soon. Age? Forget it. Harness that enthusiasm and youthful spirit that got you through the early years. So what if you are the oldest one in the class. Everybody is there in order to get somewhere better. You as the older guy or girl should have the benefit of experience to offer, but at the same time, open your ears and minds to those younger who may have more experience than you.
