I am reclassifying to 68C. When will I get my orders?

Will i receive orders to just phase 1 or both phase 1 and 2? Also since he’s a 19D should i try to get the cycle that phase two goes to either lewis or bliss considering those two have his MOS there

SPC (Join to see) you don't get a choice on getting any cycle. HRC gives you whatever location they choose. Phase 1 is attended TDY enroute to Phase 2. You will probably go to school at phase 2 without your husband. It is easier to move the two of you to a place together after your training than it is to move him to be with you for 9 months during phase 2 and then get the exception to policy to move him with less than a year on station.

1SG (Join to see) But If i was mistaken, I thought i will get my phase 2 orders towards the end of phase 1 so why would he not accompany me given phase 1 would almost be over?

Active duty Soldiers who are enrolled in class 005 or 010 get full PCS orders to Fort Sam Houston. Any other class gets PCS with TDY en route orders to phase 2 location orders cut by the losing installation.SPC (Join to see)

The orders will read PCS to [phase 2 location] and give a report date that coincides with the phase 2 report date, with temporary duty at Fort Sam Houston for phase 1 of the 68C Practical Nurse Specialist course. You should also receive a manual 1610 from your losing installation for the $5/day CONUS incidental expenses you are entitled to while in TDY status at Fort Sam. If you end up in the 005 or 010 class, you will just execute a full PCS to Fort Sam.SPC (Join to see)
