If my unit is possibly deploying to Iraq in September, and my DEROS date is Dec 19, will they stop loss me or involuntarily extend me?

The Army got rid of stop loss a decade ago. You'll be offered a chance to voluntarily extend to deploy with your unit.

...stop loss ended years ago. Theyll either ask you to extend if they need you or not take you.
