My windows opens up on March 1st for reenlistment. I’ve been talking to my career counselor and he said it should be easy to get Korea in my contract. After looking through regulations, I notice that they’re TOS requirements for PCSing. I arrived to Fort Bragg in August 18. One of the exception rules listed states, ‘reassignment to an oversea tour’.
My questions are: Does a reenlistment count as a reassignment?
What is the likelyhood of PCSing before 2020?

If you reenlist for an assignment and you receive assignment instructions, it is considered a reassignment. If Korea is an option for you and that’s where you want to go, then go for it!!! I loved Korea when I was there and I’m trying to get there one more time before I retire...Good Luck to you...

If you're airborne at Bragg you'll need to be there three years. You can only leave at two years on station if you're going to another airborne assignment. If you're not airborne, then go get your airborne physical!
But, if you're not airborne and don't want to be, your time on station requirement for reenlistment is two years. Otherwise, it's three years of your branch is reassigning you.
