Is there anything that I can do to help secure orders for myself and a few peers?

I, along with a few fellow infantrymen, have been assigned to USAREC for the past two and a half years. We are all coming up on PCS, but have yet to receive orders. We are all promotable SSGs with a loss date of around 1 August. We have all contacted branch. Is there anything additional we can do or anyone to contact to help plan our futures?

How I understand everything from what I have been told. Is that we can't get slotted for assignment until we are 6 months out. Assignments are pushed out every 2 months starting in January meaning if you are set to PCS in August - September then you won't be placed on assignment until the March cycle. That's how it was explained to me by the Infantry SFC manager.

With the new way the enlisted assignments are cycled at 6 months they can look at assignments for you but if there are soldiers that are closer than their 6 months that they didn’t have assignments for last cycle then they would get the next ones up. The assignments cycle every 63 days so just keep checking.
