I have had a voluntary reclass request at HRC since 24 January. A buddy of mine submitted his the same day and received approval 3 duty days later. Should I be worried by the amount of time or is HRC just that slow to decide on reclass into 35-series?

SSG (Join to see) did your reclass ever go through? Did you find out why it took awhile for HRC to approve? I’m planning on voluntary reclassing to 11B(short) from 92Y(N).

MILPER Message Number: 18-309 shows 74D SSG as "N," with the exception to 35L.

Roger but for the FY19 Retention policy, careerist SGT and SSG may request reclassification into an MOS listed as a shortage on the in/out calls. The policy doesn't set any rules about having to be in a balanced or over strength MOS to request it. I know it may be a long shot, but you miss 100% of shots you don't take lol. I just wish they'd hurry up and give me an answer

No he's a careerist 92F (balanced) requesting 14P (under strength) and got approved in 3 days. I understand it's a different situation and they have to consider MOS strength and everything, I was just hoping my decision would happen as quick as his lol.
