Very unlikely. How does this school improve you or your organization? You have no need for the qualification. Go to a unit that performs MFF operations and you will get the school.

Anyone can request the school with a 4187, however the chances of you receiving the school... slim. It is a ASI and not much of a need outside of special ops. Best options are reclass to an MOS that works with the needed skill set. I received the school as a Rigger who worked with SF and Rangers.

That’s a question for your retention, but if you want to request just get with your S1 for a 4187 to request the school.CPL (Join to see)

CPL (Join to see) This is how it would work. You put a 4187 requesting a school allocation. The unit’s schools NCO checks for requirement and availability. Requirements is if the unit has a MTOE authorization for the ASI; if yes then OML and funds... someone has to pay for it. If there is no MTOE authorization 99% chance it will not make it pass your company training room. The other 1% if for those extremely high speed low drag folks out there having a well established CSM who knows someone, who knows someone and works some kind of Vudu magic; seen it happened. As an 11B your MOS is in the allied list but it all depends on the type of unit. LRSP (if there any left), 75th RGR RRD (that’s how I went as a digger for them folks). Good luck on your endeavor!

CPL (Join to see) Reclass is a retention issue. Word of advice, don't reclass just for the sake of a school. Even as a 92R you are not guaranteed of going to school. Only a few gets to go. Back in my days as a young parachute rigger, only 2 of us were sent in a 5 years span from our unit. And the promotion rate is usually slower than 11 series. Food for thought!

It's also open to riggers, in case you'd like to reclass.
MFF is for people with assigned slots. If you're assigned to USASOC you can walk on, although you'll be at the very, very tail end of the OML if your duty position isn't coded for MFF. There are no more LRS units on active duty so your best bet is RRC.
